What we collect
Account details (name and email), the profile and preferences you enter or import from a resume, and the tailored documents we generate for you. We read a resume you upload once, to fill in your profile fields, and do not keep the file itself. We also store which jobs we've matched or notified you about, so we don't repeat ourselves.
How we use it
Solely to run the service: matching jobs to your profile, generating tailored resumes and cover letters, showing your matches in the app, sending account emails (address verification and password reset — we don't send job emails yet), and billing a paid plan. We don't sell your data, and we don't share your profile with employers or third parties without your action (e.g. you choosing to apply).
Where processing happens
To read your resume, match jobs to you and write tailored documents, we send the relevant parts of your profile, resume text and job descriptions to an AI service. We use Google's Gemini models, reached through a gateway we operate. On the free tier we use, Google's terms allow it to use those inputs and outputs to improve its products, so don't put anything in your resume or profile that you don't want processed this way. Payment processing (for paid plans) is handled by our payment provider, which receives only what's necessary to process a charge. The website and background service run on Render (Singapore) behind Cloudflare; your data is stored in a database on a server we operate; account emails are sent through an email delivery service. We set one cookie, to keep you signed in, and use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Your controls
From Account settings you can download a full export of everything we hold about you, or request account deletion. Deletion locks your account immediately; after a grace period your data is permanently erased.
Retention
We keep account and profile data for as long as your account is active. Job postings themselves are sourced from public company listings and are not personal data.
